I find these English folk really funny. I wish there were more works with some of their considerable intelligence.
Abajo el dinero.
Puerta del Sol, Madrid. Saturday 21 May, 2011. Night. Very well filmed by Ramón Lopes. A brave woman is applauded by the multitude. Here, I add my applause.
Liberating a building in Hostafrancs, Barcelona #edificio18N. 15Mbcn.tv.
Liberating or seizing unused spaces and housing. Meanwhile, people on the street shouted "They don't represent us!" and "The next cutbacks will involve the guillotine!" People aren't willing to take much more idiocy.
Adam Curtis - Oh Dearism.
Another exemplary living artist. Let's hope he keeps enlightening us and setting an example for other journalists - the overwhelming majority, I fear. It's sad to be forced to live in televisual exile in other languages.

Jeans and revolution (ad from the 80s).
The glamourisation of revolt.... or the aesthetic co-opting of protest.
Mientras el cuerpo aguante, a documentary by Fernando Trueba with Chicho Sánchez Ferlosio and friend
Chicho was one of the most serene and intellegent guys I've ever met. This documentary by Trueba Senior sadly has nothing to do his latest project: as an actor in a long, terrible ad for a bank that, like all banks, wants to pretend it's culturally hip. It's incredible, when you think that they're loaded and live like kings. Why do they have to go and make this awful film-ad!?
